This Vumedi will discuss the clinical considerations for patient selection in augmenting geriatric hip fractures.
Topics will include improvements to implant anchorage in osteoporotic bone when using augmentation and considerations on patient selection such as patient age, osteoporosis indicators, fracture pattern, fracture reduction, and patient lifestyle.
Dr. Graves will be moderating the discussion with Dr. Leslie, Dr. Gardner and Dr. Osgood sharing their clinical experiences with augmentation and recommendations on patient selection.
